About RUGGED ROBE

RUGGED ROBE™ is a new apparel company based on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, in Washington State with  Design Patents in Canada, and 149 Countries through International (WIPO). Patents Pending in USA, as an indoor/outdoor technical fabric robe. 

We have recently been approved by Polartec®, and Pendleton Woolen MIlls, which allows us to use their branding, tags and fabric in large quantities and in process of licensing other fabrics.  

With absolutely zero apparel or manufacturing experience, we've brought the RUGGED ROBE™ to life based on a vision we had working from home/on our farm during COVID, family hikes in Olympic and Yellowstone National Parks, and walking the beach with our dog, Madison (Maddy).

The RUGGED ROBE™ was born from need of a full length, versatile, rugged, and warm garment to throw over clothes currently worn, or by itself to:

• stay warm and dry on the mountain, boat, playing field, at the arena or campsite
• run out for coffee or an errand
• walk the dog
• walk or drive the kids to school
• tend to livestock/animals
• home-car-work

Yet warm, soft and comfy enough to:

• lounge by the pool or in front of the TV
• wear to an apres-ski at the lodge, or after a massage
• remote work/work from home
• wear between activities that call for nakedness

This is not your grandmothers robe... or like anything you've seen or worn!

Our desire for RUGGED ROBE™ is to be made with as much made-in-USA/ North America material and create fair living-wage jobs. Each of our RUGGED ROBES™ are handmade in Seattle, Washington and we're using environmentally mindful processes to recapture as much waste as possible and use only recycled materials for our packaging & tags. All Polartec® products are OKEO-TEX and Bluesign approved.

This first run of RUGGED ROBES™ will help us expand our line to include our Women's version and additional sizing, as well as bring to life the other versions we have planned.
